At our December 4th, meeting we will have a Christmas party. If you can bring in a little something she will supply the drinks. Also be advised we canceled our January 1st, meeting which falls on New Years Day our meeting will be January 8th, at 7PM.

Fran asked our members if they would like to be a Guest Speaker at one of our monthly meetings. To date she has guest speakers for the months of February and April 2009. We have talented members and it would be a pleasure to have you tell us about yourself and the area of your expertise. If interested call her so she can up- grade the agenda for 2009.

Fran also mentioned our January officers meeting we will be working on our new brochure. She would like some input and ideas from you. If you would like to attend our meetings call her for the time and date.

Fran then went on about the set up schedules for our shows. Each show needs a Chair and committee. If for some unforeseen reason something happens and the chair is not able to chair the event and does not have a committee, then the show will be cancelled. We will also train you in chairing a show.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

Chairwomen Catherine Schratt, reported she was contacted by Laura from Pocono Arts Council with the possibility of doing some things together. ROTATING GALLERY:

In Chair Pat TransueŐs absence President Fran Ferguson reported that they will meet with Pocono Mountain Councils, Rotating Gallery committee on December 11th, and discuss the possibility of combining the Rotating Gallery. Pocono Mountain Art Council has fourteen (14) galleries and we have eleven (11).  Chairwomen Catherine Schratt interjected  PAC has a formal structure and contracts. We can learn from them.

President Fran Ferguson also reported on an error made on page 2, in our Artifax regarding the rotating galleries new contact ŇSilver ArrowÓ. The article states we pay a 25% commission to the Silver Arrow and the council would not get commissions on sales.  But this should have stated, Silver Arrow will get a 20% and the council would receive 05% commission on sales.
