PRESIDENTÕS REPORT

President Fran Ferguson thanked everyone for attending our meeting the day before a holiday. She also told us to mark the show in back of the agenda as they have received a date for Meet and Greet at Sanofi as August 26th.

Fran then went on to report we are in need of volunteers for our upcoming shows.

We have the man power for our members to volunteer for one show every year. The more volunteers we have the less work it is for everyone involved with the shows progress.

Fran also reported John Ahern had gone to a Flea Market and saw they had some racks for sale. If we purchase the racks, where would we store them? She looked into a storage facility, but they want $75.00 per month for a small locker. This can become very costly.

Fran will ask for a vote on the purchases of these racks when we get to the New Business section of our meeting.

Treasurer Dan Ferguson reported on the Borough Hall Show in Mt. Pocono. This show will be for emerging Artists and regular members will also be able to exhibit 3 to 4 pieces each.

ROTATING GALLERY:

Chair Pat Transue reported members of the rotating gallery have sold a total of 15 pieces to date. Pat also reported she has procured Pocono County Place,

They will need 12 pieces and The Chateau will need 36 pieces.

Pat also explained how the Rotating Gallery works for our new members.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

Chairwomen Catherine Schratt was absent, no report.

FUND RAISING DIRECTOR:

OUR END OF MEETING MONTHLY DRAWING:

Once again Donna handed out slips of paper for you to put your name on, fold and drop it into the hat at the end of our meeting. She had the appropriate hat for Independence Day. She had an Uncle SamÕs Hat that was red, white and blue and had star all around the brim. Between the laughter and talking one name was picked. The winner was Stephan Kager. Donna presented him with a silk purse with some accessories. Come to our next meeting, join the fun and laughs, you could be our next winner.
