Fran also told us that Donna Israel has taken over the mailing of the newsletters, and is also co-chairing with her on the Home School Children’s Art Show.  Thanks, Donna !!
The deadline for the next issue of Artifacts is April 30th.  Please get your information in to Cathy Yoost  at kathy142@epix.net
Pat Transue announced that she is working on the website with help from her son, Adam.  She can link members’ websites to the PMAC website and vice versa.  Just get her the information.
Fran appointed Barbara Case as Vice President of Visual Arts, and also formally appointed Mariana Russo as Vice President of Programs – a position she assumed in January.  This appointment was mentioned in November 2009 during the elections, but did not get into the minutes for that meeting.
Pat and Barbara will work on an interactive web-based discussion group for our council to use.  Elisabeth has some information to share with them.
Pat again talked about the idea for “The Potty Show” – a project to generate some fun for us as a group, but in a public venue…She asked for volunteers to help with the show.
We sang “Happy Birthday” to Dee Kasarda !
Dan mentioned that the shed project is winding its way through the BSA procedure and is getting closer to  being approved.
Pat has someone to teach artists how to photo their work, and will send out an email soliciting participation in a lesson.  Several folks at the meeting indicated their interest.
General discussion followed……The Perry’s are working on organizing a canal trip in New York (I believe) and Jean is presenting a workshop at NCC this spring – a lesson in painting O’Keefe-like flowers in acrylics.
An art supply store in Kingston – across from the Army-Navy Store is having an “out of business” sale
Pat Knecht won a gift certificate to Olive Garden in our monthly raffle.
We adjourned.
Respectfully submitted
