Easter Basket Weaving Workshop<\/b>

Welcome spring with a hands-on Easter basket weaving workshop inspired by traditional Appalachian basketry. In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn foundational weaving techniques while creating a functional and seasonal basket.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each participant will craft a <\/span>9″ x 9″ spring basket with a swing handle<\/b>, perfect for Easter celebrations, picnics, or everyday use. Instruction will cover basic basket-making skills, materials, and form, with step-by-step guidance throughout the process. No prior basketry experience is required.<\/span><\/p>\n

This workshop is designed for <\/span>participants ages 15 and older<\/b> and is well suited for those interested in traditional handcrafts, seasonal projects, or learning a new skill in a supportive setting. Participants will leave with a completed basket and a greater appreciation for this enduring craft tradition.<\/span><\/p>\n
