November & March \u2013 Weekdays<\/h3>\n

An overall farm-life experience. After learning how a farmstead was settled in the late 1700s, the students are taught the bread making process from yeast to rising dough. Each child kneads the dough, shapes it, and at the end of the day takes home a small loaf of freshly baked bread. They will also get to churn butter, process wheat and do a craft. This is an active, hands-on way to learn about important farm products like wheat and milk. An animal visit is included if time and weather permit.<\/p>\n
